For those that don't know how to get real fixtures working it's simply a case of changing one of the XML files, namely....

nation league panel.xml

Which should be in...

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\panels

...or wherever you installed it.

Open the file with notepad and replace the contents with the following code...

So after having replaced the text in "Nation League Panel" xml file with the text you gave, I have to go and create a new file in notepad and insert the codes Zarkov has posted and save it as a .cmp file and put in

I've tried this but can't get it to work. Must be doing something wrong.

I've replaced the text in the nation panel file with that above and created a comps folder and saved the real fixtures in there but when starting a new game I don't get the option to choose real fixtures and it's not picking up my created ones.

Strange, we appeared to have followed exactly the same procedure.

I had the real fixtures working fine in FM2006.
