The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) have awarded the 2005/06 Serie A title to Internazionale.

The Nerazzurri win the title after Juventus were stripped of the scudetto as part of their punishment for their involvement in the match-fixing scandal that has rocked Italian football.

The Old Lady were relegated to Serie B and docked 17 points on appeal as a result of their guilty verdict in the match-fixing scandal.

Second place Milan were docked 30 points from the total they amassed last season - thus seeing the Rossoneri fall from their original position in the table.

With Inter initially finishing third in the table, the club claimed last season's domestic title for being the highest-ranked club left following the sanctions imposed on their rivals.

As a result, Inter have won their first scudetto since 1989 and will go into the coming season's UEFA Champions League group phase as champions of Italy.

The FIGC have also decided that the 2004/05 Serie A title that was also stripped from Juventus in this month's match-fixing verdict will remain unassigned.

To be honest, i dont like the way we have won the Scudetto obviously, but we surely deserve it, Inter's Tally ( scudetto titles) are not so far behind Milan coupe of more and well be Equal

You deserve nothing, every year Inter claim to be better but every year they fall upon the same mediocrity. You have the talented players, that much is shown by the fact that you're a level above most of the teams in Serie A but fact of the matter is that you're a bunch of losers who enjoy being third so that they can keep bitching year after year, playing the underdog.

Inter sicken me, they're a diseased club who enjoy being crap.

Are you kidding me? You were third in the league and were nothing more than mediocore all season. If you played like Barca you deserved it b/c it would be obvious you were being robbed. But you played like......well Inter. Ahh well enjoy the title that's already been celebrated and won on the pitch by us

I hope it does highlight my hate towards them, I despise their loser's attitude which has no place in any sport. Moratti's a bad owner, he spoils players and he just instils that attitude to your club.
Pressure's on you this season to win the league since you're the only "powerhouse" left, maybe this season you can change your streak. Or maybe, you'll succumb to the pressure and prove to the world that Inter can't cope with pressure and lack that winning spirit that great teams have.

Juve gets relegated, fair enough, we'll take our punishment. It was our fault to have corrupt people inside but it would be naive to pretend that we're the only ones who do it, Moratti has talked with the same refs as Moggi as well.
Besides, even with match fixing on Juve's side it doesn't cover the fact the Inter haven't won a title in 17 years previous to this year's second hand Scudetto. 17 years, in those years, teams such as Sampdoria, Roma and Napoli have won the titles.

We'll see how the whole thing pans out this season and go from there.

Another Ridculous post by Dr. Chaves, Fachettti was the one who Called, he was just making sure which Referres they were putting for the Important matches, so it was not Fachetti who was ordering like Moggi, and its a Stupid say by you because if Inter found guilty im sure nothing will happen, only will get a Fine due to the bad timing by Fachettti. Wow and Congratulations to Juventus, they will win a Serie B Title that Inter has never won.
