Well, i had an idea for a background/wall, but i'm not very good with graphic design, so i couldn't do it myself. Then i saw this place, which is by far the best soccer background website around, and i thought that someone might like the idea and make it.

I checked the sig request board, but i'm not really sure if i should post there, because it isn't really a sig that i have in mind. It could probably work as a sig...but seeing how i don't really go to that many forums, i don't think there'd be a point to it.

Anyway if anyone's interested, i could elaborate on the concept. I don't know if this is even a request- just an idea that someone might be willing to use.

Also on topic: how would i go about finding this same picture without the watermarks? I checked the picture topic for man utd, but i couldn't find it.

Thanks for the help, but i checked the gallery( i assumed you're talking about the wallpaper gallery?), and nothing too similar is there. Anyway, i have a caption in mind, so it's unlikely that someone came up with the exact same thing.

Also, by saying i checked the man utd pics topic,i meant the picture dump. I suppose i can go look for a similar pic somewhere else, but that's not my biggest concern really(just need a pic of him celebrating and looking kind of scary, running towards us)

Hmm...I might as well just give any graphic artists here a rough idea of what i have in mind to see if anyone's interested.

Alright here's the deal: I would like a wall of Wayne Rooney featured in the middle Running towards the viewer(head on and a full body pic would be prefered, but it'll depend on what I or the artist if they're interested can find). Now i'm not really the greatest with composition, so i'm not sure where the text should be...Probably in big letters along the middle of the well the text would read "THIS IS WAYNE ROONEY", with whatever colour changes in the text that would be most evective(probably white for the sentance, red for the name.

That would be the main idea, but whatever else text can be added would be alright. I'd be very thankful if someone liked this idea and decided to take it up. I don't know how well i described it, but i hope you can vizualize it well enough. The idea is for him to look like he's bursting out yelling or whatever, to be somewhat representative of his generation(i'm babbling on...i know >_>)

Again, i'm not sure if i posted this topic in the right place...but the sig request thread seems pretty strict, and with walls i would guess that the maker needs to add their own creative element even moreso than sigs so that they're kept interested in their work.

I would do this myself...but i'm not nearly as skilled as anyone here(i've only made a few works with graphic design)

Well if someone likes the idea they will make it man. But you have to understand it was just your idea for a wall, other people might have different ideas. No sites have wallpaper requests, and I think anywhere else you would have the same results. Lots of people have seen this thread, so I am sure if they are interested they will make it.

I know wall requests aren't common because they require a lot of work, but i guess if no one likes the idea then I'm just unlucky

Ah well, thanks anyway, i guess if i ever learn to be good enough i'll make one *lies to himself to feel better*

I've also got another idea, but it requires much more work and probably isn't as good. maybe you can use it as a contest idea
