Crouch is a good player and a great option to have in your squad. Him and Defoe have the attributes to form a fantastic strikeforce with eachother providing they both stay fit. £11 Million is a hefty fee, however it may be worth every penny of it. Good signing for Portsmouth.

yes it is a good signing .He deserve to be in portsmouth team as there is no place for him in benitz's team. He is a good player and surely he will play good for portsmouth.

Pompey already have a lot of striker right? Defoe,Kanu,Utaka etc. I doubt if there is first-team place for Crouch.

I dont think he can be encourage his perfomance at Portsmouth. After seeing Pompey lose to Manchester Uited, what I can say, pompey must have one flanker that can make a very sharp and beutiful crossing to Crouch. It is like Beckham-Crouch in England Squad. So he can score goal for Pompey by his high.
