I am currently playing as Celtic (as always) and after I notched up the clubs 9th consecutive league (2 under Gordon Strachan and 7 for me) title I noticed a massive shift in board expectations.
However this is not a moan, they have shifted in my favour.
In all my previous 9 seasons I have been told that the board expects me to win
League
Scottish Cup
League Cup
and achieve goups in CL.
At the start of my tenth season I was asked what my abitions were for the season and was given choice of
Title Challenge
Winner
Also the board now only expect to reach the finals of both cup competiotions and groups in CL.
Anyone else ever seen this or can explain why?
The only reason I could think of was that as I have now equaled the clubs best ever run in terms of consecutive league titles I had mabye earnt some leeway. This is pure speculation on my part.
I also wondered if it was a mistake but in happened again at the start of season 10.
On a slightly different note I have also been trying to get my stadium capacity increased and have noticed that planning permission is being blocked at 75,000 so I figured i'd reached the max. I decided instead to try to get the club to build a new stadium (in the hope they name it after either me or Henrik Larsson) and for the last few seasons they had been agreeing that the capacity needed to be bigger but kept being blocked. This season they have decided that the capacity is suffucuent and dont agree that it needs changing.
I checked my average attendances and they are pretty much the same as last year at 71,000.
