I thought this occured if you lost in the playoffs, therefore were second in the playoffs (third), but actually second overall. But seeing as you won the playoffs, it should rank you as the highest playoff team, i.e. second.

Don't think it actually has any financial effect, just a text string problem. Once I had an issue where I won in the Setanta Shield 3rd Round and the inbox message said I was through to the final?!
