...to accommodate the groundbreaking news that Leigh RMI will now be known as Leigh Genesis FC and to include its new kit. This is perhaps the most groundbreaking footie news of the summer and demands SI's immediate attention.

Bit of a shame actually. Used to have the longest name in English football.
Good change though generally. Stadium was/is poor - got a great new one on the way. Rubbish team though. They were half-decent 4 or 5 years ago.

The new Chairman has apparently brought in an almost completely new and upgraded and fully professional squad. Fingers are crossed for a Leigh resurgence. Check out their new website.

I absolutely agree, Tim. Especially if the new Chairman doesnt back it up with investment in the team. If he can parley this new age marketing nonsense into a successful endeavor for the team then I am all for it.

Why bring out a patch when you could just change the database in the Data Editor?

It is pretty awful, yes. Leigh RMI was a great name. Now it's very American-ised. And Leigh is very far from being American, trust me

Still, is it as bad as their sister rugby league team - Leigh Centurions?
