Bit of a shame actually. Used to have the longest name in English football.
Good change though generally. Stadium was/is poor - got a great new one on the way. Rubbish team though. They were half-decent 4 or 5 years ago.

I absolutely agree, Tim. Especially if the new Chairman doesnt back it up with investment in the team. If he can parley this new age marketing nonsense into a successful endeavor for the team then I am all for it.

It is pretty awful, yes. Leigh RMI was a great name. Now it's very American-ised. And Leigh is very far from being American, trust me

Still, is it as bad as their sister rugby league team - Leigh Centurions?
