the glow thing you tried doesn't look very good

Agree totally with Jack. The colours and the softness of the wall are amazing, but the glow looks a little out of place. A little brushing around the render to blend it in (ala Pabs' Wilhemsson or Riquelme one) would look really good.

I think it's great, maybe add some brushing to give it some contrast but it's really blended. Lovely subtle colouring too, I would also make the text a bit more stronger.

Good wallpaper but I think it's too soft. The clouds do not really look nice, they look like they are there just to add some extra effects. If they had more detal, maybe sharpen them up, they would have certainly looked better. Nice job though.
