At the beginning of a season, are you given a choice to enter your B team and under-19 team into league competitions (as you do in England)?

I don't think so, I believe they are obligated to compete, as they are entered into the mainstream league system: there is no reserve league.

if you include all of the leagues from bottom to top when you start a new game, most B teams are automatically included in leagues.

not sure about youth teams tbh.
