PDF is a file type, which can be opened by any adobe program

Photoshop is the best, other than that, either GIMP or Corel Paint Shop Pro although Photoshop is my reccomandation, you can find a lot more things to improve your quality like brushes, gradients etc.

paintshop pro is easier to use. but photoshop is definately the best in my opinion

My trial of Photoshop ran out ages ago so i can't get another one. I've tried taking it off n installing it again but it wont work
