No problem. When I change the default bid for a free agent when making an offer and click on 'confirm changes', the changes do not appear to be registering. This is confirmed when I go to my team's transfer center page and view my offer for the player as well as the player's transfer screen. The default bid is still there. The free agent wants a signing bonus; the default bid has none so he will not act on my bid.

Don't worry, the bid isn't changed. It does revert to the default when you look at it again (which is annoying), but the player still sees what you offered. Maybe something that will be fixed for 09.

Well that is good to know. I guess the free agent is delaying a response because he is looking for greener grass elsewhere but it would be helpful if he could give feedback about my bid.
