Hi, i was just wondering i have taken over Republic of Congo job and as you can guess their are very few good players in the squad, i have noticed alot of French player who have caps for the French under21's and under 19's but who have me as seconf nationality, my question is will these players ever consider playing for my nation as they have a very slim chance of ever playing for France will they ever lose there 'Declared For France' and give me a chance of calling them up?

IIRC if a player has played any youth national games for one country while being eligible for another country as well, he has to choose which country he wants to represent before he turns 22 or something like that.

As far as I know SWaRFeGa is right. I've seen players with "wants to try and get selected for...." before so I assume declared is definate, whereas that is leaving them options.
