Southend move into a new stadium in the the game, and since then, i've managed to get them into the Premier league, but i can't get the board to increase the stadium capacity.

Anyone else been able to do this?

So far no in my case! Maybe in FM 2009, SI can make this more frequent!!!

this does sound realistic to me, just cause ur in prem doesn't mean that you can afford to upgrade or that you could fill the stadium if you did,If you consitently fill your stadium for a few season's and have the cash too upgrade maybe afew a while the board will change their mind.

Southend are playing in a 55,000 seat stadium in my game and have been league champions on more than one occasion, and regularly finish in the top six.

I had a look in the editor once and it holds information on the stadium capacity and also the capacity at which the stadium can be upgraded to. I cant remember the exact wording but something along the lines of 'maximum potentail capacity'.

Yes you can...

In my Liverpool game, we moved into new anfield 09/10 i think with a capacity of 60000 something.
After just one season of filling it every game, it got upgraded again to 71000.

on fm07, my club actually built another whole new stadium a few years after replacing the first one!
