Anyone play as just a national team manager?

Was thinking of starting a game as Ireland manager and no club team, I have a very fast Pc so I could go on holiday until 2 weeks before every match. I was wondering if you manage a national side and then get offered a club job and you accept do you still stay in the national job? Though I could play this game when I am browsing the net and stuff.

Anyone play as just a nation?

I play windowed mode, so I'm doing other things 90% of the time anyway.

In response to your main point, if I'm a national manager, I'm always a club one too, there's not enough going on when you're just a national manager.

I started as N.Ireland manager with low reputation and then took a club job on as well at the same time.

i hope international management is more involving in fm09. i would like it if you can manage either club or country, not both. as long as both jobs are as detailed.

Because no-one has answered your main question i will answer for you:

If you accept an offer from a club team you stay as both manager of the National team and manager of the Domestic team.
