would it be possible for si to comment further on this? like if they could tell us how old you have to be, how long you have been at the club etc. that would be really good.

good actually, my coaching reports have already downgraded on him within about 5 months telling me i should offload him :p

while he may not be my "son" due to not sharing my name (though i'm guessing if i used real players on this save he very well could be) still it's a unique regen. after this season i'll play around with it some more and see if i can get either another american or one with my name. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Hes definitely not your son, the reason why you have an american regen is because your nationality is american and thus you have full knowledge of that area. iv had similar regens because of obscure second nationalities that i pick

Iv successfully 'engineered' my son. got a guy with the same surname, signed him, made him slightly younger with fmm (and slightly better!) - problem solved! useful suqad player to have a round for the rest of his career and hell finally become a coach when he retires to join his old papa!

Oh it must be true then if you remember it! Everyone seems to rememebr it, but no one seems to be able to prove it. I dont recall it being confirmed, not bothered either way, but find it difficult to believe SI would put such feature in the game. </BLOCKQUOTE>

There were a few threads confirming it a while ago but I think they all went in the recent clearout.

Probably still wont believe it......

I love the 'son' feature. Despite only getting 1 in about 140 seasons since the feature was introduced. (And even he was questionable, since I wasn't in his fave person list until 2 days after he was generated), I still think its a brilliant idea.
