also making someone isnt the same really, im not that desperate for it but wouldnt mind if i got one. i think your getting a little worked up over something that happens in about 1 percent of peoples games.

I'm not getting worked up, I just think its silly and just wanting official confirmation this is actually in the game.

If it did happen in my game though, even a regen with the same name as mine being so rare, I wouldn't like it, but it wouldnt be the end of the world. Find it hard to believe people think it's a great 'easter egg'. lol

i got to the end of the season last night but it was too late to mess around with a bunch of reloading, but going to try that today and see if i have any luck with it. should be fairly easy to spot, i've got a name that isn't in the database plus i'm an american managing in italy (have been for 6-7 years, hope that's long enough to have a son :o )

i'll post back if i find anything or if i go insane trying to.

I think, if you have used your name as your manager name, then it would include your name in the database. Therefore you are in the database as you added yourself there when you started your game, making you just as eligible for regens at any team at any point of the game.

See that might add some weight to the claims, but if it was using your name for the regen it may well get your nationality as too keep the naming relevant to the nationality, so you don't get loads of names like Mohammad Belluccios spawning in the Doncaster Reserves for example.

found some results, actually surprisingly quick. i reloaded just a few times, probably around 10, and then got an american player, which is very odd since i don't believe i've gotten anything other than italian players in the several years i've managed Lecce.

Now here's where I'm pretty sure it's my son, he instantly has me under "favored personnel", none of the other new youth have this. Note that he does have Italian as his second nationality.

I do play with fake names (played with both fake and real before, started one with fake names and got into it so just kept going), so that could explain him not sharing my name. This is as close of a son as i've seen so far though!

Sorry but I don't believe that, if he is your son then surely he would have the same surname as you?

i don't use real names, i expect that if i did with this game then he'd share my surname.

i think an american popping up in the italian league reserves (when all i've gotten so far is italian players) and instantly having me on favored personnel fits the critera :p
