I've just started the second season and Cristiano Ronaldo is away on international duty with Portugal U23'S ... Thats not very realistic is it ?

Maybe its because he was acting like an attention seeking child and the Portuguese coach's thought it might instil him with a bit of humility.

Well he would have been away with the Olympic squad. The Olympic squad is allowed 3 players over the age of 23. So realistic? Yes, yes it is.

Improbable, yes. Impossible, no. Mascherano is expected to play for Argentina in the Olympics so it's not too hard to imagine the Ronaldo could do the same for Portugal.
