Anatoli Todorov for me. Could get him dirt cheap from Levski Sofia and he simply scored for fun.....Serge Makofo turned brilliant after a few seasons on CM 03/04, he was a right back but had 20 finishing, 18 composure and 20/20 pace/accel, I stuck him up front and he duly delivered.

If I was an average prem team with an avaerage transfer budget, Emmanuel Olisadebe could easily single handedly get you a EUFA spot.

Edgar Davids was immense in a few versions (99/00 IIRC).

Justin Georcelin (now banged up) turned into a legend.

As was said, Cherno Samba was a great.

Jonas Lunden was FB, always on a free transfer at the start of one of the games.

Raul/Del Piero have both had over hyped stats in a version or two, too.
