Seriously cannot believe nobody has mentioned Ronald Gomez from 01/02! Used to score goals by the bucket load, 70+ every season

To Madeira. Absolute genius. You could sign him for like 15k as well. Think it was CM3.

Was that not Simon Davies, who signed for Spurs eventually and now plays for Fulham? </BLOCKQUOTE>

The other one from Peterborough was Matthew Etherington. They also had Gareth Jellyman, who became a fantastic left wingback.

To respond to my own question, one of the top 100 at the start of the game in 2007 is ex-Liverpool mediocrity Riise. That's not right!!

Beat me to it.

I had the game for the Xbox and one of the first players I would sign would be John Eustace.

CM Italia 93/94 the legend that is Eric Cantona would score at least 60 for my Juventus side.

A bit of topic from the thread but did anyone else who had CM Italia find that you did not qualiy for Europe if you came second? </BLOCKQUOTE>

Yes, no.2 didn't qualify but no.3 did, right? Never have "second place is first loser" been more true...

Also used to sign Cantona but also Giggs, awsome pairing.
