Just loaded game into works PC but it says check instalation log at the end (dont no where that is) and when i load it up it says no database found yet if i click on the editor there is a database? not patched either as dont have permission from administator so on 8.0.0.

that happened to me too, when i've download a new patch. the game just couldn't find it! so i quit that update patch and went back to the previous one.

If you are on XP that's the reason you had errors in the installation and is probably the reason the game can't find the database.

The editor can find the database because it has access to where it needs to read/write to configure it when you install in a limited user account (which is what you have).

If you're trying to run the game files from a memory stick, it won't work as the game needs to be installed onto the host PC.
