morning fellow managers....I have 2 machines one is a laptop the other a desktop. Desktop works fine. laptop which is windows XP sp2 machine has a problem loading save game. example: I start a new game and save it regular intervals. the next time i open FM could be the next day I select to reload the save game - the get a small error saying save game failed to load :eek: anyone had similar problems.

I've had it happen to me before, but luckily enough i was getting bored of my save anyway so just started a new game.

The next time it happens move your laptop save game that won't load to your desktop. If it loads on your desktop it probably means the save game isn't corrupted and your laptop drive needs to be defragmented.

If it doesn't work on your desktop either then you have an issue. Could be software related (FM itself, a program FM uses when it loads, a program on your laptop interfering with the saving process, a program on your laptop interfering with FM when it runs and corrupting it) or hardware related (bad memory, bad sectors of the hard drive).

are you making sure FM is fully closed before turning of the computer? if not this could corrupt the save game its happend to me a few times. otherwise take the instructions set by isuckatfm
