Im new to editing and wanted to start somewher and its not working properly

I made a notepad doccument and put this into it.

"PLAYER" "Bojan" "Barcelona" "" "" "1992" "" "" "Northampton"
"PLAYER" "Frank" "Lampard" "Chelsea" "" "" "1992" "" "" "Northampton"
"PLAYER" "Samir" "Nasri" "Olympique de Marseille" "" "" 1992 "" "" Northampton"

then i saved it as Changes.txt and saved it into the psp/common/FMH2008/Changes.txt

Next i started a new game with Northampton and what i edited didnt happen on the game!
The players werent playing for Northampton and there age didnt change.

Can someone please help? Thanks

first of all, Bojan definitly wont work because you've used his 'common name' (think; nickname), you need to use his full name, eg, Bojan Krkić Pérez (from wikipedia, maybe different on game). Im not sure exactly how that would go into the editor off the top of my head though...

I've used the official editor and this is what it suggests for your request:

"PLAYER""Bojan" "Krkic" "F.C. Barcelona" "" "" "1992" "" "" "Northampton Town"
"PLAYER""Frank" "Lampard" "Chelsea" "" "" "1992" "" "" "Northampton Town"
"PLAYER""Samir" "Nasri" "Olympique de Marseille" "" "" "1992" "" "" "Northampton Town"

I think your problem was using "Northampton" instead of "Northampton Town". For player changes you need to use the full club name, not the short club name. I checked this by confirming the records of the current Northampton players and it shows that their club is "Northampton Town".
