It's telling me to find the Worldwide Soccer Manager updates folder. I tried making one but it didn't work saying it needed some different one. Help please.

Are you running FM or Worldwide Soccer Manager?

Your link is to the FM version of the patch in .rar format which would not be correct for WSM.

Ordinarily, you would extract the .exe file from the .rar and then double-click the.exe file to install it. It is important that you use the correct patch for your game though.

You need to use a program such as WinRAR to extract the file(s) to wherever you want. On the desktop would be the easiest for you.

When you have the update .exe file extracted, double-click to run the file and this will put the files from inside the .exe into the correct places.

A trial version of WinRAR can be downloaded here if you don't already have it.

I have it. Thanks. Hopefully, I won't have to many problems. I'm trying to use the updates to fix up the Euro 2008 from having Faroe Islands in the final vs. Azerbajan, lol. If I'm in September now with both Spain and Real Madrid, and I installed the updates straight away, the next Euro tournament in the summer of 2008 would be fixed, right? Or would it not take effect in time and I'd have to wait until Euro 2012?

Thanks. I've been playing version 8.02 with Madrid and Spain for an hour now. I haven't noticed anything different but hopefully this will help come Euro 2008!
