I see that there is a sticky at the top with the Scottish research vacancies. Whilst browsing through said topic, I came across this link, which is to English Vacancies.
Within that link is the fact that the FM reseacrh tem are looking for Contributory Leagues down to the first division, as well as the premier division (i.e. Isthmian, Unibond and Southern League Divisions one)
Does this mean that SI are impleting
a) A further lower league structure (i.e. adding Unibond, Southern and Isthmian Leagues to playable leagues
OR
b) A further 'background' league, to enhance the amount of teams that are promoted to the BSS/BSN/playable leagues over the course of a game?
Or am I just reading to much into this? What are you poof's views on further leagues like this?
Perhaps it's to get around problems with Greys Athletics. Instead of greyed out players, they get people to research properly, add real players, and no one loses 5-0 to them in FA Cup matches.

The number of greyed out players in the opposition squad has never influenced my ability to lose to them 0-5 in FA Cup matches, to be honest.
Whilst I'd love another tier of playable leagues at to England, I can see that other countries should get them first and it's unlikely to happen for a good while.
There are two big things that needs sorting though, as have been mentioned here.
1. 'Greys Athletic'
2. More than the 66 teams in the immediate feeders being able to be promoted to Conference North/South, after the right number of seasons.
After all, where were Farsley (relegated from the Conference this season) and Lewes (promoted to the Conference this season) a few years ago? Much lower down. Teams can rise in non league football fairly quickly until they reach the top two tiers.
Very true on the rising through non-leagues thing, just have to look at what AFC Wimbledon has done with more than average resources at that level you can fly up into playable leagues.
FM-B: More African nations are featured in the next release, something which the community has been asking for over the last couple of years. Is this in direct response to the 'pestering' or was it always SI's intention to develop these leagues? Are we likely to see any other nations join the FM roster in the next couple of years?
MJ: We are not planning on adding any new playable leagues to the game now, or for the foreseeable future. We will always try and strive to improve our research each year, but that doesn’t mean adding new leagues! There are many in the office who would argue for less leagues, although that’s not going to happen either unless we have to pull some for licensing reasons.
