I disagree and this discussion has already taken place in the ideas for FMH09 thread.

Or... it would make more sense to have it in the match engine like on the PC - highlights or commentary only.

been mentioned in Ideas For Fmh09 lots of times. It doesn't really matter if there is one or not, all it is, is dots moving around!

the pitch on championship manager is awful the dots move aimlessly,
if Si could somehow make a decent 1 i will think we will have a psp lasting 5 minutes or something however if you could have it just for the highlights goals, fouls etc it might work, personally prefer just the comentsry anyway.

Just to confirm a few things said in the past:

* We'll only do this if we can do it realistically (ie. no 2d for the sake of having a 2d display).
* If we implemented it then the text only mode would be retained - the 2d display would just be another way of watching the SAME match and not involve a seperate engine.

Hope this helps,

Marc

The idea of having it for fouls and goals would be good. If the text would explain what happened maybe before/after the 2D pitch shows what happened that would help plan tactics, appeal against red cards and show problematic areas in ur tea

The problematic areas in my tea are obvious - quite often the bag splits and leaves little 'bits' floating in it - that makes it less than ideal to drink.

(sorry childish I know - couldn't resist )
