Depends on how far back you are going, how many teams back, as in David Beckham and Ferdinand. Or maybe have a 1999 with players like Rooney and Fabregas having an age change and stuck at their original squads.
im going to send players back to original teams if i can the only exception is if a player has just left their first club i am keeping them at their current club e.g Torres, Sneijder as it seemed a bit pointless considering theyve only played for 2 clubs except in cases where they have been at their 2nd club for a number of years!
Andy Cole and Leroy Lita back to Bristol City! If we had both of them at their peak, chances are we'd be top of the Championship AND have a goal difference of more than 0!

cole done, martins not moving see previous post, wont be adding shearer as im not adding players just moving them ack to old clubs if i did add shearer hed go back to Blackburn as that is where he really made his name and thats what im trying to do!
Done quite a bit now, by looks of things Ajax, west Ham, Barcelona, parma are looking like they are going to have strong squads
