It only seems to work for players who have one or more clubs interested in them as stated in their profile. For me at least.. can anyone confirm this?

I've tried it on three players at Watford in my first season [Scott Loach - young goalkeeper, Will Hoskins - mid-range striker, Nathan Ellington - top earner], and it's worked on all three...

To clarify, it's worked in that none of them had any interest before I tried this technique, and now all of them have been sold.
