Hi there. I just bought the game a few hours ago, and in my first two friendly matches I find myself having considerable difficulty moving players around the pitch (during a match). I seem to be able to get onto a screen where it looks as though I'm moving the players around (eg- from midfield right to attacking midfield right), but when I start the game again and have a look at the formation, the players are in the same position as they were at the start of the match. Don't get me wrong, I'm able to substitute players no problem, but I can't seem to change their actual positions on the pitch. I remember this being extremely easy to do in the 2007 edition.

This is pretty annoying, because I'm playing as Celtic and some Czech mob who I'd never heard of were pumping me 3-0 at half time, and I couldn't get my attacking wingers back into a more conservative position. Help!

(uaully when you make such changes it will say something like, "you have made tactical changes- do you want to continue", but I haven't been gatting any feedback with regards to the fact that I want to move players about)

If anyone knows how to move players around the pitch during a game I'd be delighted to hear it. When you're not in a match, you can do this by pressing right on the thumbstick when you're scrolling through your players (to access your players on the little diagram of the pitch- the part where you can have a line coming out of them to show where you want them to run). However, this doesn't seem to work during a match. Don't tell me this is going to be the case during every game! I need to be able to move my players around to different areas of the pitch!

I don't understand that though, as ican move mine during a match, scroll all the way down the list of players until onto the tactics part then press A and move them to where-ever. After you are done with that right trigger and confirm tactics

Hahah! I cannot believe what a degenerate I am. All you have to do is move down to the bottom of your players and then you can change the players' positions! Duh.

That's a lot better.
