Default Curious: is FM more suited for Intel processors than for AMD?

I recently bought a new dual-core pc, and after always having an Intel I decided to go for an AMD dual-core processor, the 6000+. Now I can select threading in-game so the game detects amd's two cores as well which is a good thing of course. The game is pretty fast, but I can't help but wonder how fast the competitor E6600 dual-core from Intel would be.

As Intel is a more prominent name when it comes to games and I suppose most users have an Intel processor I wonder if SI tests both processors and whether there are clear speed differences when it comes to the game processing?

Any user knopwlegde and experience is welcome too, of course. Just curious.

Beats me, although I suspect this is like comparing how well a Ford truck could haul a bicycle in the back compared to a Toyota. Probably not much thought put into it by the developers besides making sure it works on both platforms.

I believe Intel's chips make use of the threading option better but I imagine if you own one of AMD's "true" quadcores it might make up for it.

In terms of time we're talking about hardly anything though, it'd only show up if you did stress tests to the nearest part of a second.

I've always been AMD but Intel's newest chips win on bang for buck.

Ok, so I probably wouldn't notice it whether I play fm with an amd dual-core or equal intel dual-core as time differences will be too small you say right?
