I'd like to create my OWN LEAGUE, in data editor. Please make that possible!!!

Let us handle the leagues rules, in data editor!!! E.g. In Romanian league, on FM08, if 2 teams have the same number of points at the end of the season, it wins the team with higher goal diferrence, when in reallity, the matches between the two teams are decisive...

Let me start as coach of the B/second/youth team...

Insert more kits in data editor...

Let me create my own badge, for my new created team, or for the teams that don't have a badge.

Let me handlle tha stadium!!! Let me decide when i expand it or how big will be that expasion. Also, let me change the name of the stadium... Or even team neames.

There are teams taht sell their players with huge amounts of money... It's so not real... Liverpool asked me a price of 189 milions + 2 of my best players for one of their strikers... (this happened in 2023).

You can. There's a big community doing it. Just need to figure out how.

Sounds like a mix between Sensible world of Soccer and Premier Manager 3.

I loved SWOS, would play it today if I had a joystick. I maintain that it was better than any of the pro evo or Fifa games, because of the beloved after touch. Ah! Makes you long for the golden days of the Amiga 500+

League rules are hard-coded, so any messing around with those are likely to have a knock-on effect to the rest of the game. It can't be as simple as a "tick-box".

Better if SI just get it right - and when they get it wrong they fix it with the first patch.

On top of this, what we "want" won't matter a jot. They plan what's going in FM09 as soon as FM08 hits the shelves. Once they decide what's going in they start programming it. It's not a democracy any more than what customers want their jeans to look like.

Any of us who come up with a neat idea between FM08 and 09 MIGHT get it into FM10 - SI say they do read the official ideas thread - so don't be too disappointed when it looks like they're ignoring us.

All i want is NOT the same crap we got this year on release. And by crap i mean Major Bugs. I expect bugs, but these were huge ones. Like the Scottish league one. How the hell did that get missed?

You can kind of already do this in FM. All you do is create an edt file with the "SWAP_TEAMS" command in it. For example:-

"SWAP_TEAMS" "Chelsea" "Celtic"
"SWAP_TEAMS" "Liverpool" "Rangers"

This would have the effect of putting both sides of the old firm in the English Premiership and Chelsea & Liverpool in the SPL. It may not be exactly what you want but it does work.
