Wondering if there's a way for me to change the number of subs for the EPL without downloading the 8.0.2 patch as I'm happy with how the game is before the patch. And also if i get get the jan updates without messing with how the game runs. Thanks!

I'm sure it's hard-coded, therefore without the patch you won't have it.

You can still install the patch and take advantage of the 7 subs without having the transfers. The transfers will only become effective if you start a new game. The 7 subs will kick in at the start of your next full season.
