The PC i play FM'08 isnt connected to the internet so ive downloaded the new patch onto a USB flash stick, how do i upload it onto my PC and then check its worked?

Move it from your stick anywhere onto your PC, double-click it, and it will install automatically.

Ok ive done that and the install wizard seems to have worked, when i uploaded it im in my first season as villa, played all my friendlys and one prem game, nothing seems to have changed, will the transfer updates automatically happen when im in January? Is there anyway of checking the update has happened without being online?

(maybe a dumb question) did you start a new game?

You have to start a new game for any transfer updates to work. If your looking for the 7 subs then this will happen at the start of your next full season.

Ok, cheers for the help i may as well just start a new game then seeing as ive only played 4-5 games.
