Just got PS and did a quick one in honour of Italys WC win.

Just getting to grips with PS, quite complicated:p

Not bad considering its your first. Normally people work around a render (picture) which will be the main part of a sig. Its hard to tell you how you could improve the sig you have made there, as it isn't the normal style.

Maybe try using some brush's to make the background more interesting, I think there are links to some on here.

Another thing, you could possibly add effects to the text, through the use of layer options, where you can add a shadow etc.
