im starting a new game with inter and not sure who to buy to be honest apart rom strikers there squad isnt that great am after van der vaart, felipe (udinese), pique, hugo lloris, benzema, toulalan, bojan,baptista,moutinho,veloso,nasri and modric now i know veloso felipe and vander vaart turn into excellent players the rest i ahve always been close to buying bet never quite got there any ideas ?

I'm very familiar with Inter on FM. I'm a die hard supporter of the club and here is my quick review.

Get a central defender in season 2. Samuel, Matereazzi, Burdisso and Cordoba(and Chivu) are more than enough. You should look to offload Materazzi in the second season, and probably a good offer will come for Burdisso and you could sell him to get a better starting defender.

Maicon and Maxwell are amazing, and both your goalies are very good.

If you play 8.02, then buy yourself a good striker, someone like Huntelaar or go for Villa if the board gives you more money. You could sell Adriano(who is on loan at Sao Paolo) in season 2. Ibrahimovic is a top player, Suazo and Cruz are quite effective and Crespo is good for rotation. But you'll need a good starter as well..

As far as the midfield is concerned, you have Cambiasso, Vieira, Zanetti and Stankovic who are starting material, and also Figo, Maniche(if you are on 8.02). Solari and Cesar are bad players so sell them.

You should look to go for Alessandro Rosina from Torino or Riccardo Montolivo from Fiorentina, but your team is good enough for one season. You can also get Nani, Aguero or van der Vaart in the second season.

All in all, your team does not need much improvement from day one, but the team is quite ageing, so if you want to continue for a long run game, opt for some of Huntelaar, Rosina, Barzagli, Montolivo, Aquilani, Aguero, Nani, Quaresma etc..

I usually win all trophies with Inter using similar strategies

Ville Valo

Goalkeeper
Use Julio Cesar as your first choice, he's an excellent GK. Enrico Alfonso (sp?) should be your No.2.

Defence
Maicon and Maxwell are great fullbacks, Burdisso, Cordoba, and Chivu can all ply there aswell, so you should be fine there. Rotate Burdisso, Samuel and Chivu as your first choice CBs.

Midfield
Fantastic in the middle, with Cambiasso, Vieira, Zanetti and Stankovic, though Inter lack depth out wide, with only Figo good enough. Have a look at Hatem Ben Arfa and Jeremy Menez, both fantastic , versatile players. Bodmer would also be a very useful buy for his versatility, a much better layer than VdV.
Buy Veloso for season 2, to replace the aging Vieira.

Strikers
ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC! You should have a few decent strikers in Suazo, Balotelli and Adriano. Fine here :thup:
