I play LLM, I've posted here a few times but for a long, long time I've searched for the true meaning of this aforementioned poofery and still have no clue what it means. I even found an old history thread pointing to the original posts where poofdom was created, but it had been deleted.

Is it top secret? Just what does it all mean???

Sorry, Suzie, I just remembered a hilarious(to crappers and LLaMas) story...and it involves "poof".

In the dim and distant past there was a user called Barry, and BavDav was his name...a moderator of those boards waaayyyy before time began for LLM (1999/2000).

He started a thread which proclaimed "All English are Poofs"

...and was promptly banned for life.

Now, I don't rightly remember if it was before then, during or after, but England (in LLM) became known as Poofland, Scotland as Jockland, Wales as Sheepland and Ireland as Paddyland.

And it stuck.

"Poof", in LLM, is a term of endearment (like "bastard" in Australia was).

...for so it was writ.
