I have read the FAQ posted at the top of the forum, I just had a couple of questions.
1. Never use the search feature. So the only way to find players who may be listed for loan or transfer is through your scout? If so, can it be the scout that scouts future opponents, and then are you allowed to look at the roster screen of that team?
2. Since you can not use the search feature, how is it that you can set your scouts to find players who are unemployed?
3. Can you use the team roster screen to find players? And by find players I mean find someone who might look like they would help your team (attribute masking is on) and then either scout them or offer a trial?
4. Coaches/Scouts can only be found using the Job Center?
5. If you get a Parent Club are there any special considerations that LLM players take?

You did the same the last time you approached LLM.
You can't use T&TT and expect to be taken seriously in LLM.
It shouldn't matter where I post. I have a couple of questions about finding players in a LLM context, because I am interested. You can either answer these questions or not.
Anyway, what LLM is about is to play the game as realistically as the game allows. Play however you want, and enjoy your game. After all you purchased it and we won't tell you what to do and what not to do.
So you can do anything you stated above. The guidelines are clear though. Your choice.

up to you

It would be damned foolish if scouts only found employed players - especially in the lower leagues

Depends - if you're using it as a sophistic argument to scout Chelsea or Hull when you're in the conference, then no
4. Coaches/Scouts can only be found using the Job Center?
As said in the guidelines, Player Search is only used in extreme circumstances
5. If you get a Parent Club are there any special considerations that LLM players take?
following rules of that country's FA regarding parent/feeder clubs. If you don't know them, look them up
Thank you for any help.
In response to question two, it's damn annoying you can't tell your scout specifically to look for unattached players. Every time I start in the BSN/BSS I send a scout back and he'll come back with 40 people who aren't going to join me on loan and three or four players without clubs.
Think of it that way: your scout is going and watching some matches and/or training sessions of teams. Most players participating are contracted. Occasionally there are one, two players participating in training that don't have a contract but are affiliated to the team in one kind or other (for example by knowing the manager, or by nicely asking to train with the others for a bit). Players like that can be spotted by scouts.
What your scouts simply can't do is to find super-talented George McUnemployed who is sitting on his butt at home. Just ask yourself how a scout could find that guy in this case.

I agree with all this, but I guess I just want scouts and scouting to show some more initiative. Best way would be to hold open trials and scout these, but that has been discussed before.
