Would a manager take into account the statistics of a player? I think he would. So it's realistic.

what about when signing new players?
Do you listen only to what your scouts say? Or also what assman and stats tell?

I stopped listening to my assistant manager. He'd tell me that every single player I was about to sign was not worthwhile.

I listen to my ass-man when it comes down to signing players and when it comes down to the judging of my players' ability (and potential). I'd think that this would be more or less how things work in the real world.

Let me clarify my question...by statistics I meant the player profile ratings. Obviously if a striker is averaging a hatrick every three games that is a significant statistic. Mind you I have had an AssMan who recommended offloadiing a player like that ASAP. I off-loaded the AssMan instead.

What I meant was, do you look at the attribute ratings only?
