They'd **** all over any Scottish div3 team though. In any case, any chance of a breif explanation of juniors vs the other teams that can't be promoted ?

Yep.

There are two football associations in Scotland, the SFA (Scottish Football Association) and the SJFA (Scottish Junior Football Association).

In order to play in the SFL (Scottish Football League), and also the SPL (Scottish Premier League) you have to be affiliated to the SFA...the Seniors.

Pollock are affiliated to the SJFA...the Juniors.

Other teams affiliated to the SFA are the Highland League and the East Seniors.

Last season, for the first time, the SFA opened their arms and welcomed the three regional winners of the Junior leagues, Culter, Pollock and Linlithgow, to the SFA Scottish Cup and the acquitted themselves really well, Linlithgow only losing out to eventual runners-up Queen of the South.

How many Champions League places do Scotland have next season? If two then am I right in saying Queen of the South qualified for the UEFA Cup a la Gretna a couple of seasons back?

Nobby, it is two places in the CL for Scotland, so it really should be that QotS get that spot in the UEFA Cup. I sincerely hope so, anyway.
