I know this is not a tech support forum, but since your experienced in this you might be able to help me.
The recommended setup in FM in my laptop tells me to run 3 leagues from 2 countries. I then ran all leagues in England (6) and started a game with AFC Telford. The game runs nicely.
But in my opinion, in order to make LLM fully enjoyable it is almost necessary to have lower leagues from other countries running, not only to be able to exchange jobs and have different experiences, but also to have a bigger pool of crappy players to scout and sign.
Anyone has a recommended setup of 3-4 leagues and completely overrides it, and still the game works decently??? any help will be much apreciated!
It will work decently for the first seasons. If you run into a 20+ season career, you may be able to make a new cup of team for every time you hit continue.
Most likely you won't be able to scout anywhere else for quite some time, so don't think that argument holds.
Even when I start up a save with several countries I usually only manage where I start out. It's nice to get the results from other leagues, so I sometimes choose some 'big' leagues as unplayable.
If you want more leagues to manage in, you can of course pick Wales and N.Ireland. Won't get much talent though!
maybe i can atract some top players from welsh/irish/scottish second or third class teams to the conference, but for that i must have the leagues running for them to be there...
For my latest game I chopped the number of leagues right down to just the English ones, and even in 2058/9 it runs like a dream.
The depth you have, the more speed you sacrifice especially as you get further into the game. I like both, so one game tends to have a few countries running, my next usually just one or two.
I didn't know that stuff about the game getting slower as you progress, tks for that information!
I might try and load a few leagues and start again though...the team i´m managing right now (AFC Telford) is just cursed....we have decent money, a decent squad and the best avg attendance, but no matter what i do i cannot win a single game. So i'm probably on my way out soon, and i fear that i might not get offered another job for ages with only the english leagues loaded...
