I just found the little finances chart that displays the value of clubs.
In my gcurrent game, I noticed that Barcelona in the year 2010 is valued at 1.14 billion Euros. Given that these clubs are easier to profile than lower league ones - and that this number is waaay unrealistic - I wonder how realistic this part of the game is for really small teams?
A corollary would be, how important are finances for the survival of a team? (Aside from the ovious of course)...
So I decided to open up a thread on the money issues of the game for Llamas,,,
I've never worried too much about the financial side of things - if I'm under or reasonably close to the wages budget, I'm happy. If the board want to allow me to pay people wages that will break the budget, who am I to quibble?
I've only once looked in any detail at the financial screen in my current save, and that was after the board turned down my request to improve the training and youth facilities. So I went to see how much money we actually had - and we could welll afford it, the stingy gits

I'm sorry, but this value is not unrealistic. Real Madrid and Barcelona are way bigger teams than Bayern Munich, and Bayern Munich's value is about 700 million Euro.
