Well Ian, the offence in question, under normal cercumstances, wouldn't be a yellow card, however in those cercumstances it was due to the referee being a ****wit, and big Czech GK having half a head. Well thats the only reason I could think of, as the booking was never a booking.
There was one today during the Germany - Austria game where a German forward got called offside. The replay shows he was a clear yard onside at the time the ball was played and the commentator says something like: "Yeah, when it's that close he's right to flag it."
For ****'s sake, he was so clearly onside, and it was an absolutely perfect pass.

Yeah. BBC have done it with rugby matches, not sure about football ones though. The matches seem strange without the commentary though. I want to hear the stupid comments and bleeding obvious description of the play.
Sky used to do it with all their matches (just change the audio setting) bu tbh I don't know if they still do. I don't mind the commentators on Sky, the Beeb are OK as well, but I can't listen to ITV at all.
So it was interesting to see who the "I" characters in the Mexican tele were: Real Madrid German coach in the TV company that owns half of Latin America, and Atletico Madrid gaffer with the TV company that owns 1/3 of Latin America....
The Atletico gaffer was way, way better than the German one.
