Yes, because IRL an Irish manager would probably spend the Summer at home, therefore he would have plenty of time to scout matches.

Look, you can watch as many games as you want, but you have to ask yourself:

1) Who do you manage?

2) What wages do you get...are you part time?

3) What wages are allowed to players at your club?

4) If you're a part-time team paying part time wages of £100 a week, are players likely to come from Ireland to play for part time-wages?

The question can't be answered by anyone who doesn't know the exact situation.
