| Too lazy to find it yourself eh?
Oh, and use your shift key more often.
And a full stop wouldn't hurt either.

I recently started a new game where I holidayed for 20 season as I desperately needed a new environment. I then of course started unemployed.
At the start of teh 2027/28 season I applied to the crappiest newly promoted side, and got it on the next continue. That surprised me.
What surprised me even more, is that I was quickly approached by 3 other clubs, and the press has speculated in me on close to 10 jobs now (only one season gone by), even for a job in the upper echelons of BSP.
I'm not sure why this is. I still had no management experience whatsoever. But it's perhaps possible my age is more appealing to clubs. It's 46 in-game now, which I reckon is a lot better than 26.
Btw, I always play with my own nationality, Norwegian. But then I add English as 2nd nationality if I play there.

Thats strange that you got job offers so quickly, maybe its more about 'game experience' than the age you are, as you had played 20 seasons without managing a team it still saw you as more experienced than someone who was 46 without any game experience.

That's what I suspect as well. I wanted to apply and see if I got a job. So was very surprised I got a yes straight away.
If I had started a new bloke aged 46 I suspect things would not go quite so smoothly. I can check that btw, as I have the 20-season holiday save laying around.

| I gave it a try. Loaded up the 2027 save. Retired my manager. Created a new one with same info, hence 46yo. Applied to Ilkeston job. Got it later the same day, on June 26th. The press linked me (among 2-3 others) to the Merthyr Tydfil job on June 29th.
Seems like there was no change after all. Just that I've never been linked to so many jobs before. So found it a bit strange. Didn't bother to continue this game to find out if I would be linked to more jobs though. I suppse the game is easy on you in the start so to ensure you actually get a job.

Sometimes I'll load up a new game with a temporary manager just to see what teams start the game without a manager. Once I decide which open team I want to manage, I'll retire the temporary guy and create my "real" manager, who starts out in charge of whatever open team I've chosen.
I started doing this because sometimes it takes forever before you're offered a job.
