the clearout continues at hyde, have gotten the squad down to around 30 now - first time under the wage bill!!
the season is nearly over now, there are 4 games left and need roughly 3 or 4 points to stay safe from relegation. the gk issue is still there, although maybe its the defence as well
have signed one player, a scottish ML he looks ok for now. we won a game 6-2 which was nice, and set us up for a nice win/draw streak. then later we lost 3-6 at home to leigh which wasn't so good. just trying to stay in the league this year and then really having a go next year, my scouts have found a lot of players so far but the board are blocking my attempts at bosman transfers so i got to pray these players become free agents. just signed an ex premier league player as my ass man.
Won a thriller at Nuneaton: we were 2-0, 3-1 and 4-2 up but they equalised in the 84th minute. However, my substitute striker scored from his first ever free-kick in the last minute to land us a 5-4 victory.
Ended today's session in the dizzy heights of third place in the BSP.
I spent most of my playing time yesterday in pre-season. Managed to sign some players, some on loans, but I feel I'm too weak in defense to do reasonably well in the Premier Division... We shall see I guess.
Decent session; was dominating QPR at Loftus Road, only to be 1-0 down at half time, changed my tactics on 60 minutes and immediately conceded a breakaway goal for 0-2, ended up winning 5-2
The League 1 Title is almost bagged, with a record points total and goal haul en route.
