For the coming season the board want me to save the side from relegation, quite a change from the mid table result they wanted when i joined. I have signed a 36yr old GK who is according to my scouts "twice the player" of my current GK I have also signed a utility mid/fwd player and an irish AMC. I am currently 1 DC short for my squad, and no one on my shortlist is interested, I have a couple of them in the U/18's but they are 15yr olds so not really ready yet.

About 400K in debt now, wage bill is under the budget and one of our youth intake players came from Newcastle - Australia! Not sure how that happened, I thought there was a work permit situation in england still?

Have played 2 friendlies so far, won 2-0 against a non-league side, and lost 4-0 to bolton reserves.

Defence is a major worry still, midfield looks solid enough and one of the strikers is good.
