Frank sent me to Lunds BK. With no scouts, so no new players, I didn’t think I had a chance at my predicted 1st in the Swedish 2nd division (South Gotaland). As predicted, I struggled to make the top-grade, my team playing poorly for the first half of the season, then my almost entirely new first 11 not quite gelling in the second half of the season. Sitting 4th in the league before a 6-1 loss away at Karlskrona after which the board sacked me. Great
So off I went on my travels, applying here, there and everywhere, and by December had a job at Mezzocorona, 18th and last in Serie C2/A. 7 points adrift, their squad din’t look up for it. However, in January, a defender left for 75k, providing the money to sign 6 players for a total of 2k, including a Brazilian AML/FC (who promptly broke is ankle 4 games in) and a DR from Lund. We still sat in the only automatic relegation spot with 2 games to go, when a brilliant 6-2 thrashing of 7th gets me out. The last game comes, and I know that only a loss for me, and a win for Caravaggese will send me down. A brilliant game at my end takes place, and entering the final minute, I’m 3-2 up, with their goals scored by the same person, and Caravaggese are drawing 1-1. Wishing to savour my moment of victory, I slow the game down, but go into full defensive/time-wasting mode. However up-pops their striker for his hattrick. 3-3. As it stands though, I’ll be 3 points ahead at the end. But whats this? 7 minutes of added on time!! And, as expected that same striker pops up to score another. Squeaky bum time, as I anxiously watch the ‘goal updates screen’. There is no change. I’m not relegated! Or so I think. I look again, after giving the team talk, and there it is: Caravaggese 2-1 Varese, 90’. And the most ironic thing? Its scored by a guy with the same surname as the striker who popped in four. His only goal of the season. Great.
RELEGATION. Since it was to a non-playable division, I jumped ship.
And it was back to South Gotaland I went, as Malmo Anadolu Bol IF (MABI) approached me. Predicted fourth, and sitting 7th after 10/22 games, they seemed ideal, with a massive ground that consistently sold out helping the finances just about stay on track with a massive amount of wages from the players I’d brought in. I kept it going, and mediocrity ensued, with MABI finishing 6th in the end.
2009:
I revitalised the squad with some loanees, and 10 free signings. The season looked set from the start, but we struggled near the end of the season, but after 21 games, we were up! Thanks in no part to a loanee striker who scored 19 in 22 games. A great season.

Enjoy your time with MABI Shiner, I'm currently with their more illustrious cross-town counterparts, and it's even quite a struggle managing there.
Malmo FF in fact... how exactly I managed to work my way up to the top echelon of any league, let alone the Allsvenskan, is beyond my comprehension though...
2010:
Played fantastically for the first part of the season. Then after 12 games, we slip into a 7 game streak without winning, crashing from top, to 3rd.. Loanee ST from last year does his cruciates, after scoring 14 in 16, and becoming the clubs leading scorer, and is sent back to Helsingborg. From them we pick up a new loanee to replace the old one, who turns out to be as good, if not better, but I don’t have the same affinity for him. With 3 games remaining, we lose to a relegation threatened team, to go 6 points behind top and 3 behind second, and a playoff position. Despite a great fight, which saw one of my players score three hattricks in those last three games (winning 5-2, 4-2 and 5-0) I missed out on the playoffs by a point. Scored a stunning 74 goals in 26 game – 32 of them coming from two players. Incoming loanee chipped in with 9 in 8 games, and is now being looked at by an assortment of Swedish Premier Division clubs. Balls
My POTY: Sierra Leonian AMR/FC – 12 assists, 10 goals
Top Goalscorer: Crucial/Cruciate Loanee ST and Hattrick man, both on 16
