....off to Lublin Poland.

FM08 8.0.1(1st 3 seasons)/8.0.2
Leagues - Poland, Belguim, Holland, France, Germany, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, England, Scotland, Czech Republic & Russia (all leagues playable)

2007/08 Motor Lublin Polish 2nd Division

Inherited a fairly decent core squad, but lacked any depth. Board wanted to fight against relegation, I agreed. Secretly, I felt we could do a little better!

Predicted - 17th
Transfer Budget - 0
Players In- 5 for 0k
Players Out - 9 for 20k
League - 5th (of 18) P:34 W:16 D:6 L:12 F:44 A:40 GD:+4 PTS:54
Polish FA Cup - Semi-Final (lost to Div 1 Winners, Legia, 2-1 0n Agg)

Quality season combined with surprise cup run, gained us the over-achiever of the year award. If not for serious injury run late in the season, could have challenged for Automatic promotion or at least play-off place.

POTY- 25 y-old Club Favourite ST 35 Apps, 27 Gls 9 Ass, Avg 7.29

2008/09 Motor Lublin Polish 2nd Division

My scouts managed to find a couple of quality players languishing in reserves that we signed on Bosmans. With the added depth and improvements in a couple of youngsters, me and the board agreed we could challenge for promotion this year.
Cleared out some dead wood and awful youngsters to make space in the wage budget.

Predicted - 8th
Transfer budget - 0
Players In - 6 for 0k
Players Out - 13 for 28k
League - 1st (of 18) P:34 W:20 D:9 L:5 F:67 A:29 GD: +38 Pts: 69 Promotion
Polish FA Cup - 3rd Round. Lost to eventual winners, Wisla Krakow 3-2 (H)

Solid season. Club Fav ST was in blistering form. New signings were class, young DLC won signing of the season and again we win the over-achievers award!

POTY - Club Fav ST (again) 36 apps 34 gls, 6 ass, avg: 7.60

2009/10 Motor Lublin Polish 1st Division

Didn't add much to the squad in the off season, except for an 18 y-old AMLC from Serbia who looked great and proved to be so. Board wanted to avoid relegation, I agreed, but again felt more was possible. Several of my players starting to attract interest from bigger clubs, was a worry, though.

Predicted - 15th
Transfer Budget - 40k (my first!!)
Players In - 2 for 28k
Players Out - 5 for 35k
League - 6th (of 16) P:30 W:14 D:6 L:10 F:45 A:40 GD: +5 Pts: 48
Polish FA Cup - Qtr Final , Lost to eventual winners Wisla Krakow again 1-0 (A)
Polish League Cup - Qtr Final, lost to Korona Kielce 3-2 agg

Surprisingly good season. Step in quality was only small, in reality. New Serbian AMLC was 2nd best signing of the season! He, along with Club Fav ST were on fire! But AMLC is now being hunted by several bigger clubs from Belgium and Germany, unlikely that I'll be able to keep him for much longer, but we'll see.

POTY - Club Fav ST (again) 35 Apps 31 Gls 6 Ass 7.35 avg

Have completed a couple more seasons, but will update them when i have more time. :p

TG!KUTGW!

Hope you can replace the AMLC if you loose him, with some new quality.

2010/11 Motor Lublin Polish 1st Division

Strengthened the squad with a couple of promising looking signings. A couple of my starting XI demanding to move to bigger clubs, caused havoc within the squad. Added to that, My star Serbian AMLC was now being actively unsettled by couple of Belgian clubs. I was really beginning to worry about things!

Predicted - 6th
Transfer Budget - 130k
Players in - 5 for 46k
Players Out - 8 for 280k
League - 1st (of 16) P:30 W:19 D:8 L:3 F: 61 A: 33 Pts: 65 Champions!!

Season started terribly. Board wanted us to challenge for a European spot, I agreed. But the turmoil within the squad at the start of the season, really affected things. We went W-0 D-4 L-2 in our 1st six games. To be languishing in the relegation zone and my job was already in jeopardy.

Managed to get rid of the main trouble maker, my Brazilian DC, who everybody hated, once he was sold to Steaua Bucharest for 120k, things went ballistic! WE only lost once for the remainder of the season, including a 19 game unbeaten run (16-3-0). We wrapped up the title on the last day of the season with a 1-0 home win over our rivals Polonia Warsaw.

Motor Lublin are off to Europe next season!! Managed to keep Serbian AMLC until season's end, but he's off to Boavista, who snapped him up in a last minute bid that my chairman accepted over my head. But I wouldn't have turn down the 2 million offered anyway.

POTY - 19 y-old Serbian AMLC 37 Apps 12 gls 19 Ass 11 MOM 7.52 avg (He will be hard to replace!)

Forgot to add last seasons cup results,

Polish FA Cup - Qtr Final, Lost to eventual winners, Wisla Krakow 2-0, again!! (that's 3 years in a row)
Polish League Cup - Qtr Final, Lost to rivals Lechia Gdansk 3-1 agg

2011/12 Motor Lublin Polish 1st Division

Lost my star AMLC in the off season. Then long term injuries to club fav ST and star DLC early in the season, (but just after transfer window closed ), put us on the backfoot. Tried hard, but we could not repeat last years heroics!

Predicted - 3rd
Transfer Budget - 250k
Players In - 4 for 120k
Players out - 8 for 2.2 million
League - 3rd (of 16) P:30 W:15 D:8 L:7 F:52 A:38 Pts:53

Polish FA Cup - Winners! Beat Wisla Krakow 2-1 (Finally!!)
Polish League Cup - Knocked out in Group Stage
European Champions Cup - Lost in 2nd round Qualifying to Partizan Belgrade 3-2 agg after defeating F36 of the Faroes Island 6-0 agg in 1st round.

Board was not happy with me, but winning the FA cup at the end of the season, probably saved my job. Still managed a European place and with 1 year remaining on my contract, if I survive the year I might look to move on after the year?

POTY - Flashy Young Polish u-21 star AMC 39 Apps 6 gls 17 Ass 8 MOM 7.38 avg

Polish football...

I think it's the worst league in Europe to play in (real world). Constant bribery, hooliganism, etc.

Good that you still can enjoy FM without these details.

You've never played park football in Stoke-on-Trent then have you Cosmo.

There's only no bribery because nobody can afford to pay others to throw games.
