I am going to try my hardest not to break any rules. Just to say, many tactical people are as pro realism as LLaMas when it comes to tactics. These people are heavily involved in helping the two-dimensional on-pitch football simulation develop. Hopefully, in the near future there will be no such thing as a super-tactic and the question that opened this thread will be irrelevant.
If I inadvertantly upset anyone with the above, then I apologise.

Well it just about sqeezes through the gate as acceptable. However ('cos I really dont want to encourage you), it is irritating, and it makes me nervous, and i've got my beady eye on you.
The whole issue would (should) be complately irrelevant to us in LLM anyway if we didnt get exposed to contamination. Tactic merchants posting in here increases that risk. Even with good intentions (without good intentions it is a hanging offence), posting here about what the super tactics are is just plain ... well ... plain dozy at best. And it gets my gander up. However, if you lot stamp out the stuff your end, and we carry on in our blissful isolation, then we might one day rid ourselves completely of this terrible affliction.
imho, anyone reading about a super tactic in the llm forum and then deciding that it might be something they're interested in investigating isn't in the right forum anyway, so instead of contamination, i'd suggest you consider it "de-pollution"... and not get so het up about it....
I have no problem whatsoever with what was posted there.
I obviously don't know a lot of the tactical community, but I suspect that whether it's intentional or not, one are exploiting the game engine one way or another. That's basically what the whole forum is there for. And to teach others how to do the same.
Though I strongly disagree with the purpose of that forum, there is one thing I like about it. It seems to generally be populated with thinking humans with an IQ above 3. And it's possible to have a proper discussion there without resorting to namecalling and whatnot. In stark contrast to GQ and other fora.
But going back on topic. Let's hope the match engine will better reflect real life in future incarnations, making it even harder to take advantage of it. In that sense TTT is playing its part in finding loopholes and thus making it easier for the crew to plug them.
We on the other hand are trying things for ourselves, usually failing, yet still being totally ignorant of our own crapness

Ideally there'd be no posts about "super tactics", "super players", "new editors", "new 3rd party updates" and then the regulars, the guys who are interested in LLM, wouldn't have the opportunity to get "het up" in the first place.
It's interested/annoyed me since day one that it's the LLM regulars who get a bad name and not the arseholes who come in and try to change the forum.
In fairness, Ian, ideally there'd be no poverty, no famine and world peace, as well...
My point was, if that kind of thing is your cup of tea, you probably won't hang around here long anyway. Correct the rookies nicely and let their second post determine their fate. It's a great rule for a reason!
