I've decided to do a LLM save as I;m in need of a challenge(going a top flight team gets boring after the first season...) I've got one started and am a season in when I just realized something, it said in the rules to start at the lowest league possible and work your way up. I started in Blue Square North rather than south. Is that okay...?
If I remember correctly, Blue Square North and South are the same level. Though they split the leagues as otherwise there would be too many teams. Something along those lines..
I think he might be trying to be a bit funny, as in North is above South? In which case you're not at all funny, just stupid. If you were being serious, North and South are just regions of the UK, because they completely re-structured the lower league system (Ryman Premier had 14th and above going into Conference South, my team Aylesbury United got relegated instead ). Hope that answers both of your questions
Somerandomguy is pretty much right. They're the same level of ability, except one league is for the northern teams and the other league is for southern teams. They leagues are just divided this way to stop teams playing around, say, London, having to travel all the way up north to places like Newcastle for a match. Both leagues get promoted to the BS Premier.
thanks, i wasn't actually pulling a funny... I don't really focus on the conference irl and this is my first LLM so I actually thought that North was a better league tahn south etc. etc. My bad sorry.
