no need to raise the bristles; see, when you first mentioned Welling, I was thinking Wellington, so it is easy to get confused.

That's why the suggestion was to place the team's name in the post next to the seasons...

Unless of course, this is too much to ask...

You mistake amusement for ire.

Seriously though, I shan't be changing the headings after almost 40 seasons and four pages of updates, especially when the team name's in the thread heading.

Yes - I do have a tendency to mix amusement and ire, a Molotov cocktail, in my opinion...

No need to change the past headings - that is too much work!

Although I understand your point - if you can change the heading of the actual club, why bother placing the name in the thread itself? Except when you start moving from one club to another, the past gets erased, sort of. Or confusing. It is late now.

I put my club in with my season so I can remember where I am.

I also add the club's name into the header. But then again, I tend to change clubs more often than in this thread.

Season 2047/2048

Promoted, first place, League 2 next season.

We won the league at a canter, seemed to gel, squad would "die for each other".

We have a new AssMan, a Scottish guy needless to say, and 3 scouts for the new season, a season in which they can now scout the UK and Ireland.

The two youngsters, now both 18, are now regulars in the first team.

Top scorer was a 36 year old Welsh striker who must have been a good youngster as he acquired 30 U-21 caps.

We also won the FA Trophy.

Now Professional, everyone re-signed, the stadium is still a 5500 capacity with 500 seats.
